How It Works

Step 2 – Sample Wash your hair and collect your sample following the simple, step-by-step instructions printed on the box or watch the instructional video to get started on collecting your sample. Send in your sample to our testing facility. Analysis takes 2-4 weeks for assessment.

Step 3 – Discover Once your hair analysis is complete, you’ll receive an email with your results, including an easy-to-understand summary of your results as well as the full multi-page report. We will help you gain insights about nutrition, dietary recommendations, supplements, and more.

Approximately 1 tablespoon full (it sounds like more than it is!). Hair should be 1-1.5 inches long and taken close to the scalp. We recommend taking it from a few areas of your head as shown in the diagram received in the kit. This will help minimize any visual issues.

Many of our customers will work with their hairstylist or a friend when collecting the hair sample.

Yes! Iron is one of the elements tested. In addition, it will tell if there is any mineral imbalance between iron and other elements such as copper that may contribute to low iron absorption levels.

The test may identify deficiencies or imbalances that may cause issues in thyroid function or hormone secretion directly related to thyroid function. In addition, the identified metabolic profile may identify if you have a propensity toward thyroid issues. It will not diagnose a problem. Diagnosis of a specific thyroid issue can only be identified by a physician.
